  1. The man has a point sssh Damn good buy though, sold my 87 for more than that and it wasn't even lifted
  2. Thanks Its not going to happen anytime soon, but it'll happen someday, cuz well, life without 4WD sucks You ain't kidding, compared to what I paid for it two years ago
  3. I'm not leaving, hell, I hang out here more than the VW forums anyway, why would things change? As far as what I'm driving, its 99 VW GTI. Gets good milege but doesn't handle mud so well.
  4. So its come to pass, I sold the truck for $1400 this morning. Its going to be a first vehicle for the guy's son. I'm not real stoked about selling it but the kid sure had a huge grin on his face I told them about the forums, so hopefully we'll see them pop in in the future. Now, time to go pay some bills and dream of the next pathy purchase
  5. My passenger side front turn signal hasn't been working lately, so I pulled it apart just now to try and see if it was the bulb. It wasn't. Anywho the bulb looks fine, but its base is very corroded, as is the socket in the turn signal itself. I'll just buy a new bulb, but whats the best way to clean out the socket? I'll try and pick up a battery brush, but should I use any chemicals or anything with it?
  6. This has to be my favorite..... Passenger Noise Reducer
  7. They are called irrigation Pivots, and they are all over Idaho too.
  8. A sandwhich, Don't think you'll need the frying pan for that *ducks*
  9. Aren't you supposed to be in the kitchen? he he j/k
  10. I'm guessing he used a relay, at least when you google the lights he bought the descriptions include a relay in the parts list
  11. My guess would be somethings effed up in the wiring. I'd double check all your wiring/connections/grounds, etc as it sounds like everythings working, but once power gets all the way back to the lights it shorts out somwhere, blowing the fuse. I tried to find a picture of the wiring harness for these things but couldn't. Just going over it in my mind on how you would hook that up. I'm assuming there is a relay involved somewhere. How many/what connections are on the back of the switch?
  12. I've seen some people on the board have fabbed brackets to move the plate onto the tire carrier itself. Might be an idea. But then again, is this valid? Nissan designed these trucks that way, and issued a 31 as standard equipment, seems like maybe the cop was just trying to meet his quota or something.
  13. I used to run a set of backup lights I found on e-bay. Came with a nifty set of brackets to mount them on a standard hitch. Wired them up with a relay and they worked fine, probably still are, wherever my old GMC truck is. Cost less than $50 if IIRC.
  14. Nice collection! Noticed the Tamarack/Bogus stickers? You snowboard?
  15. That would be it, if I can get a decent enough pic with my cell phone I'll post it. Although the PO had some metal plates made to mount the larger KC's, they move the mounting point behind the light bar itself to place the larger lamp.
  16. I don't have pics of mine (no digi cam ) but mine is a piece of metal rail that clamps onto the OEM rack. The PO installed it so I'm not sure where he got the metal rail It is kinda of a U-Shape when your looking at it, with the open side of the U facing the top of the rack The only issue I've had with the lights being so far back is you can't have your moon roof open with them on
  17. Well as most of you know my Pathy is up for sale *cry* -- and before any potential buyers come and look at it I want to have the private party sale process down pat. So, my truck is registered now, 30 day sale permit. What all do I need to have/do? What info HAS to be on the bill of sale? Date, Price, "Sold as is" etc? Thanks guys
  18. Image Shack Is good for hosting single files. I see a lot of people use photobucket as well. I think Flickr is free too. Personally I have a yahoo/geocities webpage account that I use for hosting all of my stuff When in doubt this forum lets you upload one pic per post off of your local hard drive.
  19. Update! Padilla Interrogation tapes gone missing.
  20. Welcome back Mr Jim! Glad to see your more than just a board legend AND your situation has improved
  21. I bet theres all sorts of terrain and mudholes around caldwell. Might look into a local 4x4 club or something, since I've never spent much time out there, to worried about getting shot for being white
  22. Welcome to the Board! Where at in Idaho are you? Theres a few more of us from ID on here, myself included. As far as wheeling spots I know a few around Boise, mostly out around Blacks Creek, you just have to make sure to avoid the hill sides being used as target practice. When in doubt theres always Bogus Basin road or some of the foot hills roads.
  23. Interesting. Haven't heard any mention of the Mk Ultra project in awhile Anywho, hopefully this turns out as a win for the people and not Big Brother. Speaking of, funny this hasn't shown up on any other news sources :X
