I'm sure it will get put to the test!
-
Heres my two -- The one on the left is Pearl -- shes 4 y/o, and the one on the right is Bubba @ maybe 4 months. Hes almost a year now.
-
Those would look great with a CB antenna on them
-
If its going between your battery and the truck I wouldn't go with anything smaller than 4ga, if not larger.

Best Buy MIGHT have such a thing, but I wouldn't think it likely. Not many places deal with AC fans, at least when compared to the amount of DC fans out there
-
I've seen those available on some websites before, will have to see if I can find them. But if you can find an old AT computer PSU you could just use that and a few 80mm 12v fans. Computer fans are a lot cheaper too. Thats if you don't mind the PSU sitting in there I did this to add a fan to a terrarium hood once, worked like a charm.

Nice Martin! I can imagine all that helping though. 15lbs per wheel is a lot less to get rolling in stop-n-go traffic!

It really depends on how they are set up already. The easy way would probably be to hook up a relay to turn the fogs on with the high beams. I did that in my old 94 GMC to keep the low beams on with the hi's. Great 12volt wiring info can be found @ the12volt.com

I would guess some sort of aux air feed of some sort. Maybe for emissions or something? I installed a CAI on my VW (since removed) and it had a tube coming off of the CAI to feed the secondary air pump filtered air. Could be similar.

I'll second that -- even If I didn't know she was a STD riddled sl*t I don't think I could find her attractive.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but beadlocks come on rims, not tires. So its a pretty spendy upgrade.

This isn't real graphic, but the content warranted a NSFW warning. Bush Screws the Country

Meh, the guys were probably smoking to much of their own stock. If I had an illegal operation making "millions" every two months, I'd have a better setup than that. Hell at that amount my "cave" better have an escape pathy.
-
After working in a tire change shop all through high school, theres no way in hell I'd attempt a changeover with normal shade-tree mechanic tools.
-
Not to mention that its been proven that K&N's don't filter well to begin with, let alone if you run them without properly oiling them.
-
The other concern as far as the MAF goes is if you over-oil the filter element. MAF's don't function so well when that air cleaner oil gets all over the sensor.
-
That probably depends on the emissions regs in your county... I had a exhaust shop put a straight pipe on my old GMC with no issues at all.
-
okay, so i have not really figured this out yet

He he I just found that today. Type in "yo mama" for an easter egg.

I don't really worry about it unless its that thick heavy mud that sticks everywhere. I'll usually just pull out a hose with a nozzel on it (don't have a pressure washer), and my creeper and go to town. Just enough to get it out of my rims (can't be good for balance!) wheel wells and anywhere else I can see, like the crossmembers and whatnot.

My car is a VW 99.5 GTI -- gets good milege (32+), handles well, and has heated seats Only has about 80k on it, and just replaced the T-Stat, H20 pump, T-Belt and brakes/rotors a couple thousand miles ago. But maintenance on a VW is not cheap, and I still owe about 6K on it at about $180/mo. Add full ins to that and it probably costs me about $250/mo. Its worth about 8k, but take off some damages (break in, ran off the road) and my profit margin drops a bit. Downtime wouldn't be terrible I don't think...between my g/f's jetta and living less than a mile from work helps there lol. I don't want to sell either lol but as it is I can't afford to "love" them both, can hardly afford to mod one. And I was thinking if I didn't have the monthly payments it might offset increased fuel costs. The g/f's going to be visiting her mom for a few weeks, so I'll pull the pathy out of the garage and give it a better look over. To be reliable it will need work, lol when I say bushings I mean the whole suspension needs to be gone over, 200K of those miles were search and rescue miles lol.

Outside of a pathy I hear some of the older audi AWD's make good 'beaters.
