  1. I've got a 99.5 MKIV VW GTI as the daily driver. 5 year loan, 3.9% $177.80/month. Good car, had a few issues since I bought it at 47K miles, and just did the timing belt/water pump for $200. Figure I'll get something either sportier (the little 2.0 isn't fast enough) or something with better economy. EG a VW or Mercedes diesel. And next year I'll hopefully be looking into a Honda shadow or similar cruiser bike once I can get through the STARS program.
  2. Theres going to be a better alternative to starshmucks anywhere. Around here its The Human Bean.

I *heart* molson -- it has some flavor, compared to most of the generic piss everyone else around here seems to love.
  4. I'm guessing its for the redneck cool factor
  5. Had some rasberry vodka w/ice tea last night, that was actually pretty good.
  6. Currently in head: Old Time Rock & Roll -- Bob Seager <-- Really needs to get a CD player back in his car.
  7. <--- Needs a radio or headphones Currently playing in my head : Smoke on the Water
  8. Not listening to anything right now, but I do have Sweet Home Alabama stuck in my head!
  9. Thanks guys -- I won't let the wench get me down -- its better in the long run anyways. Sadly the b-day money is going torwards moving, since rents due at my current place next week and I'm trying to move I'm probably going to get hit twice. But one of the supervisors from the main office I work for loaned me $500 and then she asked if that was enough. lol so it'll work itself out. So I get to move some crap out while shes at work, then go play video games at a friends, and then another friend is taking me out to the bars tonight! Woo!
  10. I'm going to guess it will, since AFAIK the frames are the same between the 2 & 4 door models.
  11. I concur save the money for something else. Course you could always go the route I plan on doing someday: Rattle can snow camo
  12. He he congrats, feels good work on your own stuff huh :-) You save a arse-load of $$ too.
  13. Heres a little irony that I thought would apply here... Man killed on motorcycle returning from anti-helmet rally
  14. Yowch -- hope the truck turns out ok. And hopefully your son is ok after all of this. As far as the wife, just chain her up in the kitchen. (jk)
  15. Congrats Aaron! So whens her first wheeling trip?
  16. I played star wars galaxies for a month or two, and it SUCKED in comparison to WOW. Just my $.02
  17. LoL no worries, it wasn't the link title I was concened about, it was the gnome on gnome action that had me concerned
  18. Wow Man -- The T-belts on these V6's must be unholy b*tches compared to the one I did on my VW this weekend
  19. As far as running the wires, thats pretty much how my lightbar is setup, wires come out the passenger side of the bar, through a heavily siliconed hole in the roof, down the B pillar, across the floor and up to my ashtray/glovebox.
  20. I wouldn't run any aux lights without a relay IMO, and I even am running 30 amp switches in my setup. Its pretty simple, following the wiring guides provided should do it, just need to run two wires out from the relay output to the two lights you want that relay/switch combo to run.
  21. lol @ GG -- that videos hilarious -- not good for passing co-workers though MM: Me and the work crew play on Kel' Thuzad as the Horde.
  22. Those are great for traveling, already come with a stopper to prevent water spillage!
