  1. ok, i found the guy..and here is his site. in his sig he CLAIMS he's got no lift..but this site says otherwise. so i dunno. but he still has very few supporting mods to be runnin those tires

    http://www.cardomain.com/ride/719499

Those tyres are 33's max. This guy has 35's http://www.cardomain.com/ride/695964

The tyre size is obvious when you compare the two. My opinion anyway.

This guy is a member of OL (crackajnr). Look him up and ask him questions if you like.

  2. Over the last few days, the news media here has reported on a UN request to close down the US military prison camp at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The EU has also firmly reqested it be closed and the prisoners there be either charged or released, as well as other concerns.

The UN sites what equates to be torture as the main reason for its request as well as other concerns about legality. A US rep/spokesperson refuted what the UN said and went on to say that there have never been UN there so how could they know that torture is occuring, or words to the effect. What he forgot to mention, and it was pointed out in a follow up report, is that the US will not let the UN in. Whos on first? I know he is....

This one is funny. This is a quote that just reeks.....

"Frankly, we believe we've been very forthcoming in response to their requests. We have offered them the same access to this facility as we offer elected representatives of the American people,"

    And this...

"Members of Congress have come to visit Guantanamo. And the (UN) special rapporteur is receiving the same treatment as members of Congress." This of course amounts to nothing!

From another artical, same subject matter, no point reading the same thing twice. But as usual, I have provided a link to it. But this quote speaks volumes.

"Even in places like China, the rapporteurs on torture and arbitrary detention have been able to speak privately to prisoners in the facilities they've been allowed to visit," Malinowski said, "and even then they haven't been fully satisfied with the access they've gotten."

  3. OK guys calm down take a couple of breathes. Don't turn this into a flame war. Especially you FLApathy, you're supposed to put out fires not start them. ;)

You have both made it obvious that you don't care for each others attitudes. Take both of said attitudes and keep them seperate. P...

It's all good from my side of the pond.

  4. cuzz we all know your the only perfect person on this entire board, the only one that has even turned a wrench and who has any expirence at all :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Never turned a wrench (though I have turned a wench and wrenched a knee and sholder) in my life??? Hardly ever use a lathe for that matter, so I don't know why you suggest I do. Or was it wench that you meant to say?

Perhaps Common sense is not to your liking and I should cut down on it? Should I omit engineering out of the equation too? Ah, you just might be right, just for the like minded that don't really need to know anything, not people like you of course, I will refrain from common sense replies and leave all thing factual at the door in future.

As for my being perfect..... I obviously am not as perfect as you say I am. Only the didvine can spot perfection... Are you devine? You sure as hell act like it. Perhaps people with knowledge offend you? I don't know. You do have choises though. You can.... 1, Take notice or 2, Ignor the advice. It's not too hard to comprehend now is it? Do you think you can manage that instead of the repeat postings like this one I get from you?

So with your reply are you, refering to the comment (as factual as it is (and nothing to do with being perfect)) about the stub axle, or the snorkle topic, and that I think it was funny?

    Taking little SIPS!

  5. Oh c'mon dude... Think!

If you're stuck, just engage the impulse drive and fly away to safety, if somebody else's stuck use your tractor beam. Anything else needed, just use replicators to make stuff right on the spot. Why do you think there are so many buttons and such....

    ROLF!

You make valid points. I'd like it to respond only after saying "make it so number one."

  6. Why you of course! sssh

See, I don't ever go on the woot thread, too shallow or deep for me perhaps, I don't know. Given that you think I am serious all of the time, I assume that the woot thread must be where all the funny stuff happens. Outside of that thread is usually a little more specific in what is required. Advice and knowledge. I have been known to chuckle sometimes at threads even when they are serious. Why, just today I found myself chuckling out loud at some posts in the off topic section. Yep, those crazy posters in the off topic section, yep, yep, yep! Even a report back had me laughing today, litterally. Why? because the stub axle is what a front wheel spins on and that is not effected by an axle at all now is it? Still supposedly the problem is resolved??? All those years I spent as a front end mechanic wasted! Well, if you don't laugh at things like that you will cry. And I did get a kick out of the home made snorkle thread. I am smiling now as I reminisce while I type. I still look at it from time to time and still laugh my head off. You should look back at that and see who really is serious.

I also think that some of my retorts to things are quite witty too. Perhaps they are not witty enough and I should try harder? Though last time I tried mz had to edit my posts. sly

  7. Hey fella's!

Axle: 1974 Bronco with 78 Chevy outers (6lug)

The rest is bascially from a 78 Big bronco with a few mods here and there.

It sets the same height and looks like most lifted pathys.

It certainly is a clean looking job. The best I have seen actually.

What sort of body roll do you get on corners etc.

  8. I can totally understand why that thread was locked. Harb asked a simple question and the thread turned into a complete flame war.

So it wasn't transworldmoto that got it locked after all? I thought he got it locked with his (to be expected expected of him) special comments. Yes, come to think of it, it was him that got it locked!

    Back on topic then.....

So when are you going to finally fix your steering? I would not be using 4wd untill you have fixed it. Your car will continue to wander and being in 4wd will exagerate that, not to mention wear the components even faster.

  9. I happen to like pirate. They have low tolerance level for idiots and people who don't read FAQs.

I too have the same level of intolerance for idiots. Oh, and people that make up stuff too; by that I mean liars. Oh, and for home made stuff that was made without an ounce of care. Ignorance can be added to that too but I fail to see the justification in the way they carry on at times.

I must be an old softy.

    P.S.

People can be forgiven about the FAQ on this board and it has never been an issue with me.

  10. Heehee, Vsicks is notorious everywhere!

Actually I'm glad that Vsicks is as bad as our board gets, he's tame compared to people on pirate!

:hide: *Hides from the pirates* :hide:

Bad? You will have to enlighten me. I only ever treat others with the same amount of respect they treat themselves and others with, and I am bad?

You are correct about pirate too.

  11. This is most likely something related to the Hardbody... The cab and bed of a HB sits higher off of the frame than that of a Pathfinder. The holes were likely put in all the frames to make production easier. Rather than running batches of two different frame designs they run them all the same... at least on that section of the production line anyway ;)

But good find, thanks for sharing that bit of info :aok:

The Navara/Hardbody (4wd model only) sits two inches higher than the Pathy. Yes, it has a factory BL.

  12. I use to live in the Gully myself. Fair Park area just near Fair Hills Primary. I still have friends in that area and was up that way (Boronia) on Friday. Too bloody wet there though but fuel is always a couple of cents cheaper than my way?
