  1. As of today, still issues, more reports filed on my part as well
  2. I've clicked and filled out the false warning report twice (yesterday and today) and its still fudged for me...
  3. That can also be taken multiple ways
  4. I forgot and now the avast! issue is keeping my desktop from being useful at the moment. My bad, beat me later.
  5. Factory roof rack and a pair of ratchet straps? Honestly that's about all I see on a lot of vechiles lately (mainly because I've actually been paying attention
  6. On my desktop (what I voted) Yes and I can't get on the site (main page or forums) I use Avast! (Just ask my wife, it scares her on a regular basis with its loud azz (BING BING! AVAST! VIRUS DATABASE HAS BEEN UPDATED!!!). I use Chrome only
  7. Most of my d21s of the past had some form of frame rot either starting, been repaired, or the demise of it.
  8. I have no clue what brand mine are, all I know is they are the floppy weiner style and I cut one down to be "correct" for the rear.
  9. Honestly without another one sitting beside it as a comparasion id say the advertised height is pretty on. The lazyness of not taking 10 minutes to flip the rear bumper brackets is obvious sign of the 3" bodylift and from as well as I can tell without getting too involved and with the pics show looks to have a little better clearance than me for 33s so I'd say 3-4" of suspension (as I'm currently sitting on 33s with a 3" BL and 2-3" of suspension, though it does have 10" wide wheels and chopped up flares and I have 8" wheels and full flares)
  10. One thing that I know is "different" engine wise is mid 93 they changed from square to round tooth timing belts/timing gears. A round toother has a longer timing belt maintnance interval (105k miles compared to a square tooth 60k miles). Since you have a round tooth one already if you get a square tooth motor you could change over the belt related gears over and still have the "up to date" stuff, or take em off if you get a later engine that already has the round teeth and send me the round tooth gears from your scrap one
  11. TotM was kinda tame this month, hence I forgot! I'll set voting up later when I'm home
  12. Started him and actually drove him today, blow all the pine tree needles off him
  13. I'd probably be trying to shoot my garden hose at it and be glad i had a pool full of water to help random helecopter stealing my pool water for no reason though? I'm gonna try throwing fruit at you!
  14. Tire shine makes it have that "freshly sprayed" sheen again
  15. Where it bolts through the spindle? wHack the spindle (where the tie rod goes through, on the side) with a sledge, may take a few hits but will generally jar it loose
  16. Only "pealing" issue I had was when changing a couple tires the lip got nicked by the machine (I take the blame but it was my wife doing the tire swapping. Was the machine though and not her fault anyway). A quick spray of the can took care of it. We didn't want a silky smooth finish (like the kinda texture look) and spraying them in direct sunlight may have helped achieve that. As for prep just clean the surface and make sure it's dry, no sanding necessary
  17. That don't count if its a 3.0 2nd gen 4runner, rotting banana peels roll uphill faster than them... Trust me!
  18. I used the aerosol on the (now winter set) wheels on my wife Blazer and some other random odds/ends (including a shovel handle, it helped with the feel of the bare metal). It seems to have taken over the 'bedliner everything' fad locally (don't get me wrong, I like my bedliner) as I've seen a few cars locally that have been "dipped" (childish mind thinks rodger rabbit every time I say/type that) as said some good/some not so much.
  19. Too bad welding was out of the question, I wanna see a wd21 with a cowl mounted high lift! (And am cheap so it ain't happening here unless I find one dirty cheap )
  20. Got it right the first time B Enjoy the trip and remember to take some pics as well (preferably out of focus ones with dirty cell phones FOR B!)
  21. When I actually used to wheel, the next day at the latest and the soap and water was out.
