  1. Yes, they are (spoken from a past of a few 4x4 HBs)
  2. That hose has probably not been touched in 16 years! Perseverance and patience, I hav efaith you can do it! (though I'll admit I'd be on that relocate wagon right quick, I'm honestly looking for how I want to do it with the block temp sensor on my truck right now because I don't wanna change it...) and don't forget we have the ability to edit stuff in your account, and I have ideas...
  3. it's all personal in my opinion. I've relocated an internal mount to external. The inside one while always free of the elements took up cargo area (though I still have the mounting bracket installed) and took up some window real estate I could pass on. The external sucks now and then if you don't plan ahead in a parking lot and want to open the whole hatch but the vision blockage is minimum and you got a rack you can mount all kinds of carp to!
  4. nice186 is the orficial winner of Marchs TotM voting! congratulations!
  5. Depending on the wheel style they take a different lug nut style. GM 1/2 tons share the same lug pattern as well but have a smaller hub bore
  6. Thought I replied to this thread (at least one of them...) Family owned auto repair shop/towing employee since I could figure out righty-tighty/lefty-loosy (usually), and driving the wreckers since I could reach the pedals. My flatbed I consider my "office" holds many of my "firsts" memories.
  7. I saw it on a local board earlier while it was still kinda early... it didn't intrigue me too much as I am far from a carpenter (though could probaly do far better than what I last saw). Maby if I actually read through it I'd find more humor I'll re-read the Herculined Hootus thread on the Explorer board... I understood THAT!
  8. just remember, first time I can remember at least for a long time nobody nominated themselves! (not that that's frowned on)
  9. Buy the wheels and send me yours as a belated birthday gift I'm not sure how hard it is to source those wheels are on your side of the pond but they can be pretty easy to find here as they were/are not to hard to see rolling by on a 1/2 ton 4x Chevy. I would personally go for the PTO if you have a use for it (whether it be current or planned) but also don't know the avalability/value of that over there
  10. Flip it over and bend it the other way
  11. and will cause the need for glasses/contacts!
  12. And whining about wanting an account on an Internet forum deleted yet constantly signing into it to complain because a pointless post gets no/unwanted results is proof of that.
  13. January 2013: Steeevo
  14. April 2013 TotM nomination time! The rules 1. You can nominate only Pathfinder/Terrano/QX4 trucks belonging to Registered NPORA Forum Members. New members will have to wait 3 months and have a post count of 100 before they can be nominated. Members who are banned, currently on suspension or for 1 month after their return from suspension will also be disallowed. (If you are banned you won't be able to be nominated for 2 months). a) please let us know who's truck it is that you're nominating (even if it is yours) 2. NO FAKE OR JOKE ENTRIES. 3. First 20 nominees are up for consideration and the nomination thread will be closed after the 20th submission or the 20th of the month, which ever comes 1st. Voting will be from 21st-28th. 4. One pic per nomination post, 640x480 or smaller. Larger pics will need to be re-sized. Try to make it a good one or nobody will vote for your nominee! A recent pic is preferred but if the Pathy is still in the same shape as your last pic, go ahead and use that. An offroad setting or action pic is also preferred, but not necessary. 5. Only one truck nomination per member per month. 5. a) If multiple people want to nominate the same truck, it is up to the nominee to decide on which pic to run with. In the absence of the nominee, the decision will be made by NPORA Moderating Team 6. Winner gets 3 pics of their choice of their Pathfinder pinned in the TOTM forum (PM me the links please) and is ineligible for the remainder of the calendar year. 6. a) A Member can only win once a year - multiple pathfinders do no mean multiple wins. 7. No post whoring. 8. Not reading these rules may result in delicious pie for nobody. THEME MONTH: WATER CROSSING! lets see some trucks on their way through some H2O!
  15. So I'm late (not pregnant though! ) but voting will be open until the 12th to give time to get votes in 1: PaMountianbiker 2: Theexbrit 3: nice186 4: stoic small field, should be close! good luck participants!
  16. They do (more than may be visible to the naked eye) I'm just normally on top of it enough that it don't really need watched otherwise. As I said, I just need to get back on my normal (if you want to call it that) track and get stuff flowing right again
  17. Nah, I just been over-occupied between work and other crap and the free time I thought I would have had this weekend got taken so I didn't have any good desktop time. I got pics for starting up the winners thread and everything. Just need to get back in my groove. Hang in there, I'll get better!
  18. Or the bumper for the direction your gonna go is firmly against something solid, like a factory wall
  19. How much room do you have for parts storage and are their any stipulations to what "must" be left? And welcome to NPORA
  20. I had plans of making a 'Desert Runner theme' on my truck, taking a little bit of liberty with the colors though (hence the reason I've been driving around with a red hood/cowl panel instead of my SR5 hood all winter). Ambition lost and gonna do something a little simpler and more 'me' though when the weather breaks
  21. you get the alignment after re-indexing, that will get your front end back to true (as long as front steering/suspension components are in good shape of course). Depending on the ammout of sag and crank currently on them you could get 2" of lift from them (people get up to 3", the common 3" front suspension lift is primarly upper control arms that help with ball joint angles and cranked torsion bars). And yes, it is quite possible that your's did not have 31"s from the factory but as they are a factory option it doesn't take a whole lot to get them to fit on non-equipped trucks
  22. you mean a front suspension lift, a body lift raises the whole body from the frame. And you may want to look into adjusting/re-indexing your torsion bars in the front first. They may juts be sagged giving the impression of lift in the rear without the front (as 31's was a factory optioned size and were talking about a 20+ year old vechile, it's quite the possibility) http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/17038-how-to-re-index-your-torsion-bars/
